Aikido of Hilo Winter Seminar December, 2007 - 1

Hagihara Sensei, a 7th Dan Shihan with the USAF, by invitation of Robert and Barbara Klein Senseis, led a 5 day seminar at Aikido of Hilo in Hawaii. Every morning Hagihara Sensei conducted a weapons class at various scenic locations throughout the island. In these classes participants were able to learn Hagihara Sensei's 21 technique (both attack and defense) with Jo and Bokkuto. During the days there was plenty of time to explore the many exotic sights on the island. During one of these days participants were invited to partake in the annual mochi pounding with the members Kohala Aikikai. Each evening participants returned to the Aikido of Hilo Dojo where Hagihara Sensei conducted two night classes.
