An Old Man In A Shoe

There was an old man who lived in a shoe. The shoe was just an ok shoe. When the night had taken away the day the old man would sit outside his ok shoe enjoying the night and drink his tea.
One day a stranger passing by felt sorrow for the old man and his ok shoe so he put in a brand new shoelace. It was a very fine shoelace.
Others passing by decided that such a fine shoe lace on just an ok shoe was not right so they got together and put a fine shine on the ok shoe.
Well such a fine shoelace on such a fine sine needed many other things and as time went on the ok shoe had lights, music, a fine piece of land, and very many people coming and going all the time.
Only a few people even took note that the strange old man who used to get in the way was no longer there. If anyone felt any thing they were glad he was gone.
Many miles away there was an old man who lived in an ok shoe. In the night air, if the moonlight was just right and you looked ever so carefully you could see a smile on the face of the little old man.
